I rented a car for my stay on Barbados, to see the entire island. In the coming days I will visit many beaches and one is even more beautiful than the other. Beautiful white sandy beaches with palm trees between the rocks, such as Bottom Bay and Foul Bay. There is quite a bit of seaweed on some parts, especially where there are few tourists, but still amazing. The season should have already started, but everyone is complaining about the slow start of this season. Bathsheba has a beautiful coastline, with palm trees and worn rocks in the surf of the waves. Inland is Harrison’s Cave and in this mountain landscape the forest is much denser. The sea is calmer on the east coast and this is where most of the fancy resorts are located and where the rich live. In Bridgetown there is the monument for singer Rihanna, on the street where she grew up, but she no longer lives there, she moved to the fancy part… Barbados is a beautiful island for relaxation, beach and snorkeling, but a bit pricey.
